- Annual turnover exceeding BDT 50 lakh (for VAT).
- Engaging in import, export, or supply of taxable goods/services.
- Businesses required to deduct VAT at source (VDS).
For businesses with a turnover between BDT 50 lakh and 3 crore, Turnover Tax (TT) registration is required instead of VAT registration.
